Relocation Services

Moving and particularly downsizing can be a daunting task at any age. There are a myriad of decisions to make, timetables to keep and tasks to perform. A move coordinator will manage some or all aspects of the relocation process, depending on your needs. This allows you to immediately enjoy the comfort of your new home without all the stress.

Pre-Move Services
Knowing what to bring, what to leave behind and how to effectively place your belongings in new surroundings can make the moving process unfold so much easier. Sometimes all that's needed is a fresh perspective and professional guidance to get started. A pre-move consultation will outline a definitive plan to accomplish your relocation goals.

  • Evaluate Belongings: Visit your current residence to determine what furniture, artwork, accessories and personal belongings can be moved to the new location, based on size and available space.

  • Determine Storage: Examine kitchen and bathroom cabinets, closets and storage areas, advising you on what can move, based on available space in the new location.

  • Layout Space: Measure selected furniture for the new residence and determine the general layout of major items with your approval.

  • Make a Plan: Prepare a list of your furniture with measurements and a floor plan drawing. Provide copies of both for you, the moving company and facility move-in coordinator where applicable.

  •

Post Move Services
Relocating without professional assistance can be overwhelming, particularly if too many items have been moved to a new home. Excess furniture creates a cramped, cluttered environment that doesn't provide space for comfortable arrangements and easy walk ways.

Moving too many clothes, shoes, toiletries, kitchen items, linens, etc. with insufficient space to store them, keeps you from fully settling in. This can lead to feeling frustrated with your environment and having a general sense of discontent.

Disorder can be easily resolved by decreasing excess items. Once clutter has been removed, remaining items are properly organized and furniture is harmoniously arranged. With your belongings in order, you'll feel more comfortable and nurtured in your new home.

  • Arrange: Arrange furniture, hang artwork and place accessories to produce an aesthetically pleasing, orderly atmosphere that supports your living habits and creates a comfortable space to call home.

  • Organize: Items in bedroom closets, kitchen and bathroom cabinets / drawers and storage areas will be arranged in an orderly manner for convenient access. You will receive advice regarding the purchase of organizing tools and supplies to maximize storage use.
